Andre Beaumont has a sound record of anticipating or predicting economic, political and social change, from the multiple events that became known as the fall of the Berlin Wall to the severe economic downturn of 2007-2009. Within organizations it can be difficult to flag up likely change and its consequences or challenge orthodoxies without meeting significant opposition. This is why the highlighting of possible changes, dangers and opportunities is often left to an external consultant. Being forewarned in this way has a lesser internal cost. It is possible to write extensive 'fire and forget' reports, as he has done for organizations such as the European Commission, which are fixed in time and for consideration at particular meetings, and whose contents may indeed stand the test of time, but in a dynamically changing environment it may be better to have a short report that can be kept up to date in real time, or periodically, by the same person. These are the services being offered here. What type of review or ongoing reports you might seek depends on the world in which you operate. If your business unit is part of a larger organization and is moving premises you may need analysis of current problems and future challenges that affect it alone. If the possibility of any large financial entity failing might cause your business trauma you may need some analysis before the event and as events unfold and not necessarily of the expensive consensus or 'follow the herd' type that is made available in a 'panic'. Imaginative anticipation may be the order of the day. We have pan-European experience. We can tailor consultancy to fit within your discretionary spend limits. We can combine a review with follow up project management or business transformation. For these: Please contact us by any of the three means above. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 24 January 2012 Small contract to devise a property strategy for a charity won today as it helps it 'think out of the box'. If your organization, too, needs to think out of the box, please do contact us by the means above. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 27 January 2012 Original work often crosses boundaries. Business consultancy may have to, too. It may need to take on aspects of analysis found in creative disciplines. It is a matter of time; analysis based almost exclusively on metrics is not delivering the conclusions that the rapidly changing world needs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
